Client Needs:

Qatar is located along the Arabian Gulf coast and features a dry subtropical desert climate. The region receives very little rainfall throughout the year, with hot summers, intense sunlight, and relatively high humidity, while winters are comparatively mild. The client wanted doors and windows that provide excellent thermal insulation, airtightness and dust protection, wind pressure resistance, and sound insulation. The goal was to minimize the entry of outdoor heat and humid air while meeting the needs for large-area natural lighting and a modern minimalist exterior design in a villa setting.

Solutions:

● Features the K90 thermal-break casement window system, utilizing high-strength thermal-break aluminum frames to minimize heat transfer between the interior and exterior; rated Class 8 for thermal insulation and air tightness, it effectively mitigates the impact of high outdoor temperatures and humid heat on the indoor environment while reducing air-conditioning loss.
● Compatible with large-cavity insulating glass or triple-pane (dual-cavity) glazing to further enhance thermal and acoustic insulation; combined with Class 4 sound insulation, Class 6 water tightness, and Class 9 wind-load resistance, it meets the rigorous demands for sealing, stability, and comfort required by the expansive windows and doors of luxury villas.
● The window sash supports a wide 180° opening angle, maximizing ventilation in favorable weather and facilitating glass cleaning and routine maintenance; flexible configurations—such as single-opening or double inward-opening—suit various spaces, including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling window installations.
● Optional laminated glass railings enhance safety in floor-to-ceiling window areas without compromising expansive views or natural light; a base-free handle design and rounded corner profiles create a sleek, minimalist aesthetic while minimizing the risk of injury from sharp edges.
● Colors, dimensions, opening mechanisms, and glazing specifications can be fully customized to align with architectural designs, ensuring a harmonious visual balance between dark window frames and light-colored stone walls, glass balconies, and modern villa facades.
