Dubai experiences hot, humid summers and abundant sunshine year-round. The client required windows and doors capable of withstanding intense sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, and sandy, windy conditions, while also providing ample natural light, thermal insulation, energy efficiency, dust-tight sealing, and a quiet indoor environment.

Solutions:

● Utilized the X11 (2.0) integrated casement window and screen system; the thermal-break aluminum structure minimizes heat transfer from outside to inside, enhancing comfort in air-conditioned interiors.
● Features Class 8 thermal insulation performance; paired with project-specific insulated glass configurations, it minimizes heat transfer through large window areas and reduces the loss of indoor cool air.
● Class 8 airtightness combined with a multi-layer sealing structure effectively prevents hot air, humidity, and dust/sand from entering through frame gaps, keeping the interior clean and comfortable.
● The high-strength thermal-break aluminum frame offers Class 9 wind-load resistance, making it suitable for large floor-to-ceiling windows and high-window designs, ensuring stability during windy and sandy weather.
● Achieves Class 4 sound insulation performance, reducing noise from traffic, the neighborhood, and the outdoors to create a quieter living environment in areas such as living rooms and bedrooms.
● Class 6 watertightness enhances waterproofing at frame joints, improving protection during rainy and humid weather.
● Supports opening modes such as double-inward-opening and tilt-and-turn, facilitating natural ventilation as well as easy cleaning and maintenance; options for fixed or openable safety guards are available to enhance safety.
● The minimalist dark-colored frames and expansive glass design harmonize with the villa’s light-colored stone exterior, wooden eaves, and warm interior lighting; colors, dimensions, and glass.
